മോളിവുഡിനെ വെല്ലുന്ന മറ്റൊരു തിരക്കഥ:
നിയമസഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന് മാസങ്ങള്‍ മാത്രം ശേഷിക്കെയുള്ള ഈ രാജി സര്‍ക്കാരിന് തിരിച്ചടിയാണ്. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉമ്മന്‍ ചാണ്ടിക്ക് ഒരു വിശ്വസ്തനെ നഷ്ടമാകുന്നു.
ബാര്‍ ഉടമകളില്‍ നിന്നും കപ്പം പിരിക്കുന്ന പോലെ നാല് വര്‍ഷവും കോടികള്‍ പിരിച്ചിരുന്ന മന്ത്രി ബാബു കോഴപ്പണം വീതം വെയ്ക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടായ തര്‍ക്കമാണ് രാജിയില്‍ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. മന്ത്രിയുടെ ഒരു അഡിഷണല്‍ പ്രൈവറ്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി കേരളം മുഴുവന്‍ നടന്ന് പ്രധാന ബാറുകളില്‍ തങ്ങി പണം പിരിച്ചിരുന്നത് എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും അറിയാവുന്നതാണ്.
മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയാവാന്‍ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ തടസ്സമായി നില്‍ക്കുന്ന മാണിയെ ഒതുക്കാന്‍ പി സി ജോര്‍ജിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ മന്ത്രി അടൂര്‍ പ്രകാശിന്റെ തിരക്കഥയില്‍ രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല രംഗത്ത് ഇറങ്ങിയതോടെ മാണിക്കെതിരെ കേസും തുടര്‍ന്നുള്ള സംഭവങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായി. മാണി രാജി വച്ചതോടെ ബാബുവിലേയ്ക്ക് കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നീക്കാന്‍ ആയിരുന്നു പദ്ധതി.
ബാബുവിനെ രക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ആവുന്നതെല്ലാം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ജേക്കബ് തോമസിനെ ഡിജിപിയായി പ്രമോട്ട് ചെയ്ത് വിജിലന്‍സില്‍ നിന്ന് മാറ്റിയത് മുതല്‍ കളി തുടങ്ങി. കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് ഹൈക്കമാണ്ടിനെ കൊണ്ട് ചെന്നിത്തലയേ അനുകൂലമാക്കി. ബാബുവിന്റെ കേസ് എറണാകുളം എസ്പിയുടെ കീഴിലുമാക്കി. ഇതിനൊപ്പം പ്രലോഭനങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കി ബിജു രമേശിനെ ഒപ്പം കൂട്ടാനും ശ്രമിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍ ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ അനന്തയിലും മറ്റും കെ എം മാണി കരുതലോടെ പ്രതികരിച്ചു. ഇരട്ട നീതിയുടെ പ്രശ്നമുയര്‍ത്തി ധനമന്ത്രി സ്ഥാനം രാജിവച്ച മാണി ബിജു രമേശിന് ആനുകൂല്യം കൊടുക്കാന്‍ സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല. അതോടെ ഒത്തുതീര്‍പ്പു പൊളിഞ്ഞു.
അങ്ങനെ ബാബു രാജിവച്ചു! ഇത് എങ്ങനെ നേതൃമാറ്റമെന്ന അജണ്ടയില്‍ എത്തിക്കുമെന്നതാണ് രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല ക്യാമ്ബിലെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ചിന്ത. ഏതായാലും ബാബുവിനെ വെട്ടാനായതില്‍ അടൂര്‍ പ്രകാശ് അതിയായ സന്തോഷത്തിലും! ഉമ്മന്‍ ചാണ്ടി മന്ത്രിസഭയില്‍ ഈഴവ മന്ത്രിമാര്‍ രണ്ട്: അടൂര്‍ പ്രകാശും കെ ബാബുവും. ഇവരില്‍ ആരാണ് ഒന്നാമനെന്ന ചര്‍ച്ചയ്ക്ക് ഇനി വിരാമമാകുമെന്നാണ് അടൂര്‍ പ്രകാശ് പക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ചിന്ത.

The director grimaces, "But I retired years before I died.
I'm tired of all the hassles involved in movie- making."
"Listen," the clergyman explains,
"we got Ludwig van Beethoven to write a new score for the movie..."
"You're not listening to me," the director protested.
"I don't want to make any more movies."
"But wait; I've got Leonardo da Vinci to do the set design for you,"
the reverend exclaimed.
"I don't want to make any more movies!" the director insisted.
"Just look at this script," the parson said.
"We got William Shakespeare to write it for you!"
"Well," said the director,
"a score by Beethoven, set design by da Vinci, script by Shakespeare...
How can I go wrong? I'll do it!"
"Great!" exclaimed the cleric. "There's only one small hitch...I've got a girlfriend who sings....."
