Here I do endorse Mr. George's and Mr. Mathews's requests to declare solidarity with the Pandanad Immanuel Mar Thoma Church Members in their quest to maintain status quo-
their right to pray in their age-old parish. The righteous among you Marthomites are duty-bound to act honorably regardless of the circumstances or the people involved.. you need to identify yourselves with the members of that parish in their legitimate right to exist.

May I ask where all those fire-brands and stalwarts of liberty who clamoured against the infringement of rights in the Kuwait Mar Thoma Parish are now? The issue at Pandanad is similar; if not identical... they need your support.

With apologies to Dr. Johnson, the Pandanad episode abounds with images which should find a mirror in every mind and with sentiments to which every heart should return an echo.

Please read:
Luke 19:37-41 (NIV)

37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:

38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”

“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”

40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it.

I would love to hear back from you all,

Adv. Alex Abraham Odikandathil

  1. Why is the gentleman's enquiry ending as a cry in the wilderness?
Why is his voice not finding even an echo when the question ought to be repeated in chorus?
He has been asking this question again and again which targets the very moral fabric of the Suffragan Metropolitan.
