On Adoor Prakash, revenue minister

Easter/ Methane/ Kalabhavan Mani...
There’s one greenhouse gas everyone knows about- carbon dioxide, which is what you get while burning fossil fuels. We talk about a “price on carbon” or argue about a carbon tax; our leaders boast about modest “carbon reductions.” But in the last few weeks, CO2’s nasty little brother has gotten some serious press.
Meet 'Methane,' otherwise known as CH4.
In February, Harvard researchers published an explosive paper in Geophysical Research Letters. Using satellite data and ground observations, they concluded that the nation as a whole is leaking methane in massive quantities. Between 2002 and 2014, the data showed that US methane emissions increased by more than 30%, accounting for 30 to 60 percent of an enormous spike in methane in the entire planet’s atmosphere.
To the extent our leaders have cared about climate change, they’ve fixed CO2, just by means of talk. But the truth is that CO2 has been replaced mostly with ones that burn natural gas, which is primarily composed of methane. Because burning natural gas releases significantly less carbon dioxide than burning coal, CO2 emissions have begun to trend slowly downward, allowing silly politicians to take a bow.
But this new Harvard data, which comes on the heels of other aerial surveys showing big methane leakage, suggests that our new natural-gas infrastructure has been bleeding methane into the atmosphere in record quantities. And molecule for molecule, this unburned methane is much, much more efficient in trapping heat than carbon dioxide.
Any reason for a re-thinking about the methanol found in Mani's autopsy as methanol is made from methane?
Hi, its easter... Happy Easter to all my friends and family!

Why is everybody silent on the issue of assigning public land to several Christian denominations in Thannithode (Kozhenchery Taluk- on the road to Chittar near Ranni) by the revenue minister just a few days ago?
Thus the Mar Thoma Church got patayam (title) for 1 Acre and 85 cents of land where there are many shops leased out for monetary gain; and,
the Orthodox Church got 'patayam' for two land parcels which includes a co-operative bank.
Their argument that the farmers have a right to get patayam for the church's illegal land- possession (to pray) along with getting patayam for themselves is untenable and most absurd.
Besides, the Mar Thoma Metropolitan's claim that the "farmers immigrated to Thannithode from 1948" is quite illogical and false as it is in contravention to local history, if not ignorance manifold.
Don't you guys think that these acts are against Ethics and Code of Conduct/ Election Laws, per se?
We got to understand that the land we live in and the plentiful gifts of nature we enjoy are not rights bequeathed by our ancestors;
on the contrary, its a credit granted to us against which we are making advance spending, in other words, debts we incur from future generations, the basis of which is an unwritten promissory note that we will not stifle them. Thanks

A guy walks into a post office to see a middle-aged man standing at the counter methodically placing 'Love' stamps over bright pink envelopes with hearts (love- symbol) all over them. He then takes out a perfume bottle and starts spraying over them. The guy's curiosity gets the better of him and asks what he's doing.
"I'm sending out 1,000 Valentine's Day cards, signing off "Guess Who?".
"But why?" asks the man.
"I'm a divorce lawyer."

Philip Dallyachan there are married bachelors
Adv Alex Abraham Odikandathil And there are bachelors who are in the married way.

The sedition charges slapped on JNU Students' Union President Kanhaiya Kumar is similar to those pressed against Balwant Singh for shouting pro-Khalistani slogans and TN farmers for protesting against the Kudankulam Nuclear Plant in the past. The state has sent Kanhaiya Kumar into limbo and other students like Umar Khalid are awaiting a similar fate. Yet another promising student of the University of Hyderabad, Rohith Vemula was targeted in a similar manner and an attempt was made to clamp down his expression of concerns.
When will we, as a nation, attain the stature to tolerate different opinions which admittedly is the pathway to unity and progress?

Thomas Mathew Paravaneth A subject for a seminar will give intolerance to many ,,,but it will be best
Adv Alex Abraham Odikandathil Delhi police constables are getting lectured on subaltern studies, class warfare, development concepts in South Asia and perhaps even dialectical materialism. This is not a back to college initiative. These are the responses they are getting while questioning Umar Khalid (a Ph. D. student in tribal history) and Anirban Bhattacharya- two JNU students under arrest on sedition charges for raising pro-Afzal Guru slogans at an event in JNU.The Times of India report details how the two students circumvented many of the key questions posed to them about the identities of masked men who allegedly raised anti-India slogans in the university. Instead, they chose to answer about their own studies in JNU- speaking in theoretical and high brow literary terms that left the team of interrogators on day one completely confused.
By narrating in detail the concept of subaltern studies and development concepts in south Asia when asked what they did at JNU, the two left the team of an inspector and two sub-inspectors befuddled. So, why are the hesitating to arrest Chidambaram, the Home Minister at the time when Afsal Guru was put to death for his statement that we may have erred in this? Why is he not thrown into the cell, today?
